Turpin Kia’s Re-Opening Health & Safety Protocols

 May 19, 2020

The Ontario government has lifted some restrictions and we are pleased to announce that
customers will no longer require an appointment to visit the dealership!

With strict health and safety protocols in place, we look forward to operating in a way that keeps both
our staff and customers safe.

Namely, we will continue to practice safe social distancing with no handshakes or other physical
contact. Our staff are all handwashing constantly, and we have hand sanitizer on-site to ensure
frequent disinfecting.

Additional cleaning procedures will be in effect at the dealership, with frequent sanitation and
disinfection of all surfaces. Regular, thorough cleaning of any and all “touch points” will also be
executed.

Our Service & Parts department remains open. Strict physical distancing and safety protocols are in
place to protect all staff and customers.

To further protect our customers and staff, our dealership remains cash-free. All transactions will be
processed using credit or debit cards.

We want to thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times. The entire
Turpin Kia team feels so fortunate that we are able to safely re-open our doors and help get our
customers back on the road.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Please note that our dealership is now closed to the public for car sales. We do have systems in place for virtual sales and leases of vehicles. Anyone wishing to purchase or lease a vehicle is encouraged to call or email us.

As an essential service, our Service & Parts department remains open. Strict physical distancing and safety protocols are in place to protect all staff and customers.

We are also offering our customers the option to order necessary parts and accessories directly from our Parts department over the phone. Complimentary delivery service will be provided to those within a 30KM radius on all orders over $100.00. For all orders under $100.00, a nominal delivery fee of $10.00 will be charged. Delivery outside the 30KM radius will be assessed and arranged on an individual basis.

For the seniors in our community who require vehicle maintenance, we will be providing a FREE additional service for those within 30KM of the dealership. Turpin Kia will pick up their vehicle from their home and bring it back once the work is completed.

To further protect our customers and staff, our dealership remains cash-free. All transactions will be processed using credit or debit cards.

Thank you for your continued support,

To Our Turpin Kia Family,

While our dealership is currently open, this may change based on further information and developments. The COVID-19 pandemic is a rapidly evolving situation and we are monitoring it closely. We are listening to the advice of health experts and recommendations from our government.

We know there is much uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and we are doing everything we can to maintain a healthy environment for both our staff and customers. Turpin Kia has been and continues to be vigilant in following all COVID-19 safety protocols recommended by health experts. Please be assured that any staff member who exhibits the slightest symptom or is feeling ill in any way will not be allowed to work. While we plan to remain open for regular business, we ask that anyone who feels sick, or has come into contact with someone thought to be infected to please stay at home.

Fortunately, we are a small-town dealership with lower foot traffic than others, ensuring we are able to practice safe social distancing. However, as an added precaution for those who wish, we will provide virtual video showings.

To further protect our customers and staff, our dealership will be going cash-free. All transactions will be processed using credit or debit cards.

We hope to remain open for as long as it is safe to do so, not only to continue to serve our customers but also for the sake of stability for our team members.

Please stay safe and continue to take care of one another.

Fern Turpin,

President
